Tasmania wrap

Tasmania was amazing. Diverse, natural and beautiful, all you can ask for in a location.  In case you have missed it, photos, experiences and updates can be found on the Facebook page as well as a link to wikicamps which shows the places we visited and our trip route.

Driving back from Melbourne we talked about a future post with stats and favourite spots, so stay tuned. My favourite place was Cradle Mountain. Spectacular from air and land and also the place we had our favourite wildlife spot, a feisty wombat in the Discovery Park.

I am writing this surrounded by noise and music in a local Sydney cafe. I enjoy being near to the coast but I can’t help think this is such a different lifestyle from the calm wildnerness of Tasmania. Not jumping any guns but I certainly see a return visit to the Apple Isle.
